In its 25th year, Books, Brushes & Bands for Education was awarded the Frank Van Til Lifetime Achievement Award at Hammond’s Annual Volunteer Breakfast, Thursday, October 23. The public is invited to experience the fun at the Midwest Choir’s upcoming rehearsal, Monday, November 3.
Mayor Thomas McDermott honored BBB4E for its 25 years of service in Hammond. This recognition celebrates BBB4E as a “Convener of People.” The organization creates opportunities for community members to gather and explore the arts in a safe, welcoming environment. BBB4E is grateful for the time and support of countless BBB4E families, corporate sponsors, and volunteers. Since 2004, the Midwest Music Program has connected learners of all ages to an enriching education and performance experiences.
Fall classes for the Choir began this October! Guests are invited to join the Midwest Youth and Adult Choirs for rehearsal on Monday, November 3. Join us at the Merge Building, 6 pm-7:30 pm, for a Choir Open House and Cookie Decorating. –Enjoy a sweet treat, meet the choir directors, and learn about BBB4E.
