Summer Choir Concert at the Indiana Welcome Center
Wednesday, Aug. 7, the Midwest Youth Choir Summer students concluded their season with a free performance at the Indiana Welcome Center. Students and their families were invited to view the current exhibit “Calumet Voice, National Stories.”
Russell Pikes Jr. directed the students in singing “America the Beautiful.” As Director Bryan Johnson transitions to the next phase of his career, Mr. Pikes will take over as the lead director of the Midwest Youth Choir Level 2 starting in Fall of 2024. Bryan Johnson was honored with an award by Michelle Golden at the Summer Concert.
