Midwest Youth Choir and Orchestra Winter Concert

Students in the Midwest Youth Music programs performed at Hammond Central High School Dr. Walter J. Watkins Black Box Theater Dec. 14, 2022.

The Midwest Youth Orchestra opened the concert with a selection of songs from their Essential Elements book. Many of those students are learning to play an instrument for the first time. The Midwest Youth Choir (MYC) performed holiday songs like “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch,” and “Where are You Christmas?” Students in the MYC Level 1 and 2 performed “Love Grows at Christmastime” together to conclude the concert.
